Parent Involvement
Mozarts and Einsteins values the essential connection between parents and the school administration and teachers. Here are some ways that we invite parents to get involved:
* Monthly newsletter and calendar are emailed and sent home to keep parents informed.
* “Tadpoles” app allows teachers to send parents pictures of students and their daily activities, allows parents to easily check in and check out their children. “Tadpoles” also allows parents to quickly report if their child will be absent or late on any given day. (Music and Arts Academy parents receive text blast reminders as appropriate)
* We utilize the plethora of resources in our immediate area for field trips to such places as the Brooklyn botanical gardens, Brooklyn Museum, Central Library, the fire house, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and more. In Jamesburg, we take field trips to Thompson Park, the fire house, the library, and to fun local businesses. Parents are invited to chaperone.
* A number of volunteer opportunities are offered during the year such as speaking during “career week”, or helping with coordination of events.
* Families love attending our students’ semi-annual recitals, summer performances, Halloween party and parade, International night, spring fling, Preschool prom, and more. Extended families and friends are always welcome at our events.
