The Music Academy at Mozarts and Einsteins understands child development in relation to learning music. After 25 years of experience providing music education to students of all ages, here are our best recommendations of what instruments to start at what age:
Age 5 and under:
We recommend our Little Mozarts piano class. This is a beautiful introduction to piano and musical elements in a small group setting. Lessons are engaging and appropriate for young children.
We offer Baby and Me class for newborns-age 2.
Age 4 and up:
piano, voice, recorder, ballet, hip hop
Age 7 and up:
drums/percussion, ukulele, junior rock band
Age 8 and up:
guitar, electric guitar, bass, voice, viola, cello, violin
Age 9 and up:
flute, clarinet
Age 9 and up:
saxophone, trumpet, oboe, trombone
Age 11 and up
tuba, bassoon, french horn, rock band
